A place of significance in the city, known for its rich cultural heritage and role in shaping the community, Indiana Avenue reflects both history and progress—something that closely aligns with our own story.
Where It All Started
Our Indianapolis office opened in 1992 with a simple goal: support work with Indianapolis Public Schools and build relationships within the community.
What started with a small team working side by side around a few folding tables quickly became something much larger. Through hard work, trusted partnerships, and a commitment to delivering quality projects, Powers & Sons Construction steadily expanded its presence throughout Central Indiana.
As opportunities grew, so did our team. One office suite became two, and two became three. New projects led to new relationships. Each milestone helped strengthen our foundation and position us for the future.
A Foundation built Over Time
For more than three decades, our office at 2502 Roosevelt Avenue served as the center of our Indianapolis operations. It was where teams collaborated, challenges were solved, and projects that helped shape communities across the region took root.
For longtime team members who have been part of the Indianapolis journey since the beginning, the office represents decades of growth, achievement, and shared success.
Today, Powers & Sons Construction employs more than 60 people at our Indianapolis office, and we continue to grow year over year. As our staff, relationships, and project portfolio expanded, it became clear that we needed a new office to accommodate our team now and support our continued growth over time.
Built on the Past, Focused on the Future
Our Roosevelt Avenue office will always be an important part of the Powers & Sons Construction story. It’s where our Indianapolis presence was established and took root.
This move represents progress - growth - opportunity and the continued evolution of our company. It's more than a new address; it's an all-new chapter. As we begin it, we do so with gratitude for all who helped build the foundation that brought us here. We’re excited to continue growing our team, strengthening our impact, and building projects that matter throughout Indianapolis and beyond.
