Powers & Sons managed renovation of the Edna Martin Christian Center at 2605 East 25th Street. The center is located in a historic Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) building originally constructed in 1927.

Before the renovation work began, asbestos and lead throughout the 11,500 SF area was abated.

The renovated space spanned two floors and consisted of six classrooms, a technology center, offices, kitchen, and dining room. Work included selective interior demolition, new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, new flooring, and fresh paint.
