Phase IV: Indiana Convention Center

  • Location: Indianapolis
  • Completed: April 2001
  • Delivery method: Construction manager

Powers & Sons Construction was construction manager for the 140,000 SF Phase IV expansion of the Indiana Convention Center.

Our work included building back-of-house support spaces, enlarging the main exhibition call, and building new offices and administrative areas. State-of-the-art mechanical, electrical, engineering, HVAC, and other systems were installed. The exterior features glass curtain and metal wall panels enclosing a steel-framed addition.

At the time, the project made the facility at 100 South Capital Avenue the nation’s largest convention and exhibition space.
