As part of IPS’s Rebuilding Stronger initiative, this project included key facility upgrades such as a full roof replacement, new fire alarm system, Originally built in 1937 as a high school, Thomas Carr Howe reopened as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World middle school in the fall of 2024 Part of IPS’ Rebuilding Stronger initiative.

Renovations included a complete roof replacement, complete fire alarm system replacement, gymnasium paint, select flooring replacement, and new reception desk casework. HVAC system servicing and water heater replacement are also included in the scope of work.

Additionally, one of many exciting features of the project is the investment IPS is making in the health and wellness of its employees with the first ever myIPS Employee & Family Clinic. The clinic is housed within the school and provides healthcare services to IPS employees, their spouses and their children.
