Powers & Sons served as general contractor for this 27-acre S. Army Corps of Engineers ground and waste water treatment facility in East Chicago.

The project included jacking and boring operations to install a water supply line underneath Indiana Route 41, a highly traveled thoroughfare.

Our scope of work included site preparation, connecting utilities, constructing a concrete pad for the treatment plant (built by a JV partner), creating access roads, and a parking lot.

We built the administrative building, maintenance and storage facilities, and installed interior and exterior security systems throughout the property.
