Near North Health Services Corp. provides community-based primary care to individuals and families. Their integrated services include health care, social services, and nutrition education.
Powers & Sons built their two-story 26,000 SF health center at 1520 North Kostner Avenue. The new construction includes 21 exam rooms, a WIC nutrition education program, social services, wellness center, mock grocery store and demonstration kitchen, and three-chair dental practice.
The center features a courtyard healing garden, skylights, and a glass curtain wall that brings natural light into waiting and program areas. The facility is LEED Silver Certified and includes environmentally responsible geothermal power, a green roof, and energy-efficient heating and cooling systems.
