Powers & Sons was a partner on this CMc project to build a new living-learning community for Purdue University honors students.
The 320,000 SF, 800-bed Honors College & Residences consists of north and south buildings. It contains a mix of single, double, and triple occupancy rooms arranged in clusters based on areas of study.
Powers & Sons delivered all pre-construction planning and management, including construction estimates. We served as general project managers, coordinating the work of prime subcontractors to meet a challenging schedule.
Our team demolished existing buildings and managed site preparations, relocating utilities, building foundations, completing all concrete work, framing, interior rough-ins, interior finishing in student areas and corridors, and adding the brick-and-stone exterior façade.
