Powers & Sons completed an 18,650 SF interior build spanning three floors. The first and second floors were occupied during the project. Work was split into two phases, with the first requiring office and work station relocations to the third floor then converting the empty space into classrooms, laboratories, lunch rooms, offices, and meeting rooms. The Powers team rose to the challenge of meeting an ambitious schedule for working in an occupied facility and completed all work in 90 days. To achieve that goal, lean principles including pull planning, expedited submittal reviews, and elimination of schedule constraints were utilized.
