Mamon Powers III has been named one of ENR Midwest’s Top Young Professionals who are making a significant impact on the construction industry. This award highlights and profiles individuals who represent the “Best-of-the-Best” in the construction and design fields by giving back to their industry and communities.
As the third generation to enter the family’s general construction business – and the fourth generation in the construction industry – a 14-year-old Mamon Powers III began his career taking out trash and cleaning up the warehouse. During the course of the last 30 years, he’s served as a project engineer, VP of business development and currently serves as Executive Vice President of the Indianapolis Division. He received his bachelors of science from Trine University and his MBA from the Krannert School of Business, before accepting a job at a large construction firm in Kansas City, Missouri where he gained valuable insight working on large hospital construction projects. That knowledge and experience help broaden Mamon’s construction management experience and prepared him to re-join the family business. Powers & Sons continues to build a solid reputation for delivering quality projects and has delivered more than $1 billion projects since its inception. It holds a bonding capacity of over $100 million and is currently managing more than $200 million in construction projects.
